Could It Be?

I was reading a web site which some how got me thinking about the Diablo pc game action figures. I have a couple and thought it was be neat some day to own the entire set. So I start looking around eBay and such, then follow a link to blizzard.com, the company that made Diablo. On their front page is a job opening, with some strange wording. Instead of saying they are developers of World of Warcraft, which is insanely popular now, they mention Diablo and D2. So I’m thinking D3 may be in the works. Wouldn’t that be nice?

You know they’re going to ride the WoW gravy train as far as it’ll take them.. but they’ll be ready with something to retain and transition their playerbase the moment they feel that WoW has peaked in popularity.
If I were running Blizzard, I would have had two teams working in tandem .. one team working on a diablo-esque evolutionary mmo, and the second team working on a new universe revolutionary mmo of some type.
$150 million/month pays for a lot of development time..
