Purple

I promoted to purple belt last night in spite of completing messing up my fighting katas. I honestly don’t know what I was doing. Oh well, at least I made the rest of the group look good. 
I also continued my tradition of bleeding on people. This time it was a jammed finger nail. The toe nail from the last belt promotion is about to come off, with the new one about half grown in. And Carol wonders why I enjoy doing this. Congrats to Jerry to promote to orange and the rest of the gang: Teresa, Mary, Mariam, John, Stephen, Rob, and Dave. Russ and Suzy may test in the next week or so.
Have you ever noticed how belt colors are the opposite of bruise colors? Belts go yellow - green - purple - black, and bruises the other way. Hmmmm…..
Shannon just left to head back to NC. Hope she enjoyed herself during her visit. I’m trying to convince her to move here. I thought the fact that we have a CVS on every corner would woo her, but no such luck.
Well, I’ve got to put the mower back together and attack the lawn.
