16 Done
Posted on September 26, 2005
The Sweet Sixteen party was success. We rented a nacho cheese machine, borrowed a cotton candy machine from a friend, and showed The Last Yard (??) outside on a 8×8 foot screen. All 17 teenagers decided they wanted to sit on the trampoline to watch the movie. Those darn kids.
Saturday Brady and I did baseball. We worked on staying in the batters box for the pitches. He has a game tonight and we’ll see how well he remembers. He is really enjoying baseball.
Mom & Dad came down Sunday, then that evening I took Emily a few of her friends to Big Spring Jam. Well, I took them to wait in line in the rain for 30 minutes until someone came out and said all shows were cancelled. So we shot down to Hollywood 18 and watched Flightplan. It was good, much like Panic Room, Jodie’s previous movie.
Thanks to Mike and his RMNP radio, I’ve been bit by the QRP CW bug. I’ve starting relearning morse code and hope to test in a month or so.
This weekend is Fall Wargames with Abbey and the weather is expected to be Mah-Vah-Lous.

It looks like some of the RMNP pics were garbled. You can probably find better ones at ectui.net as he publishes.
Em has her Sweet Sixteen Friday night.

We’re out of the camp and on our way to Denver for a shower and a meal.
