Well, I dropped the internet service on my T-Mobile account that I used with my Treo. It was nice to be able to blog from anywhere, browse the net when I couldn’t remember some piece of trivia, or connect to my laptop for access on the road. But the money was needed in another bucket, so my blogging will be manual from now on. I may still be able to blog from my Treo and have it upload when I hotsync, but the laptop I was moving to is making odd noises, so I’m hesitant to move off my old laptop.
Shout out to SlideShowPro for a neat piece of software. If you need a flash based photo gallery or image slide show, then this looks to be the way to go.
The boys took their saved allowance yesterday and purchased a Wii. It is amazing how the new controllers add a whole new dimension to gaming. The whole family has had fun with this new toy. And sure enough, today Brady didn’t have the wrist strap on and flung his controller at the tv where it ricocheted and hit Benjamin in the head.
School starts in less than four weeks. Emily starts band camp next week, so her summer is pretty much over. Hope you had a fun one.

Friday night was my black belt promotion. And it is true what they say, what doesn’t kill you will make you really sore the next day. I survived as did Will, Mary, and Theresa. Afterwards we celebrated at Ruby Tuesday’s. This is a pic that Paige and I sent from our end of the table to Kevin at the other end.
Emily and Ben are off to Passport with the rest of the youth group. Ben threw his retainer in the trash during their first lunch stop. It was recovered by Em.
Brady just finished a fun week at Police Academy. And Abbey goes tot the doc today to see if she can get her boot off.
